We are the old station masters house & station that served Malhamdale on the beautiful Settle-Carlisle railway line. Of course that has many advantages in terms of character & history, not least if you are a railway fan, but also means that trains do pass by, rather infrequently, but they are part of the experience of staying at Tudor House.
Now, for the first time in the 3+ years we have been here it seems we are to have another ‘experience’ – night time engineering works.
Starting on 4th November and continuing until (hopefully!) for 6 days and then again from 16th to 22nd December, Network Rail are undertaking drainage & ballast renewal works on the line close to Tudor House overnight.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SPENDING SOME TIME WITH US DURING THESE PERIODS
