3 years after taking over a lovely but tired building and business that was in need of some TLC and no little money, we are delighted that all our efforts to bring Tudor House ‘up to scratch’ have been recognised.
It took two visits from assessors from Visit Britain, as awards are not normally handed out in twos, but after verification from a ‘Senior Assessor’ it appears with a few tweaks we might be looking at GOLD next year. We will certainly be trying.
On top of the Trip Advisor ‘Certifcate of Excellence’ which we got for the second year running just a few weeks ago, Sheila & I will go on holiday very happy, looking to re charge our batteries and come back to yet more winter renovation work (improvements to ‘Wharfedale’ and a brand new bathroom for the same room as well as a new kitchen for me!).
Thereafter we look forward to welcoming guests both old and new and giving them the warm welcome that both paying guests and the Visit Britain assessors have enjoyed so much this year.
